Mahagauri is worshipped on the Eighth Day of Navratri.
Maa Mahagauri is the Eight form of Durga among the Nine Durga.
Devi Mahagauri is known for her Beauty, Purity, and Grace, and is believed to fulfill her Bhakt's desires.
Maha means Great and Gauri means Bright Clean , Maa Mahagauri is extremely fair.
Maa Mahagauri is seen with four hands 2 hands in Abhaymudra and Varadmudra giving ashirwad and other two hands holding Trishul and Dhamru.
Mahagauri Devi's vahaan is Nandi ( Ox ).

Mahagauri Mantra

या देवी सर्वभू‍तेषु माँ गौरी रूपेण संस्थिता।

नमस्तस्यै नमस्तस्यै नमस्तस्यै नमो नमः॥

श्वेते वृषेसमारूढा श्वेताम्बरधरा शुचिः।

महागौरी शुभं दद्यान्महादेव प्रमोददा॥

ॐ ऐं ह्रीं क्लीं महागौर्ये नम

Mahagauri Pujan

Devi Mahagauri pujan is done on Eighth Day of Navratri as Maa is Eight form of Durga and this day is called as Ashtami.
White Clothes and flowers should be offered to Devi Mahagauri.
Kanya Pujan is done on this day by worshipping kumarika girls and giving them gifts.
