Sitaram Yechury Passes Away At 72

CPI ( M ) Genaral Secretary Sitaram Yechury passed away on Sep 13 Thursday,2024.

Mr Yechury was admitted in AIIMS on 19 August 2024 , he was admitted in ICU.
Mr Yechury was suffering from acute respiratory tract infection , he was on ventilator from 4 days.

In 1978 , Sitaram Yechury was All India President of SFI ( Students Federation Party) who was from Kerela.
Yechury was arrested during Emergency while he was studying in JNU.
Sitaram Yechury was Former Rajya Sabha MP - West Bengal from 2005 to 2017 and Genaral Secretary of the CPI(M) Party.
Yechury supported V P Singh's Goverment in 1996 -97.
Yechury played important role in support withdrawal from UPA Goverment.
